Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, President of the Batangas State University delivers  the Official Statement of the University on the Opening of Academic Tear 2020-2021.

In summary, the University promotes the flexible mode of teaching and learning. Face-to-face facilitation of classes shall not be allowed. Internet hubs and modular lectures shall be made available for those who have challenges in internet connectivity. The Google Classroom shall be the official Learning Management System (LMS) of the university.

During the transition to flexible learning, the University appeals for support, understanding and commitment to the entire BatStateU Community to “Heal as One, as We Learn as One”.

Center for Transformative Learning (CenTraL)

Welcome to the Center for Transformative Learning (CenTraL)

Responding to the need of the present time, the Batangas State University established the Center for Transformative Learning (CenTraL)  which shall serve as the arm of the University as it migrate from the traditional to alternative mode of teaching and learning.

The Duties of the CenTraL are as follows:

  1. Spearhead the migration of the university from traditional to alternative modes of Teaching and Learning;
  2. Provide recommendations on the utilization of ICT tools and services towards an effective  Teaching and Learning process using alternative modes;
  3. Coordinate with the Area Coordinators on the development, evaluation and utilization of alternative Teaching and Learning resources and methodologies;
  4. Facilitate the capacity-building programs for faculty members  to ensure optimum efficiency and productivity using alternative modes of Teaching and Learning; and
  5. Prepare the necessary guidelines and coordinate with offices concerned on the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of alternative modes of Teaching and Learning.

The CenTraL reports directly to the  President and coordinates with the Vice President for Academic Affairs. 

The CenTraL Management Team is composed of:
